Alla Korolevska

I am Alla Korolevska, a doctor of the highest category in two specialties: surgery and endoscopy, a candidate of medical sciences (Doctor of Philosophy, PhD) in the specialty "Surgery", and a teacher. In my publications and videos, I share personally verified information and my clinical experience.

In my professional biography as a doctor, which began in 2005, I have worked as a surgeon and endoscopist. I have worked in both planned and urgent situations. I consider it important to consider each specific situation of the patient individually, not the disease! With the beginning of my scientific career in 2010 as a research associate in the department of esophageal and gastrointestinal diseases at the State Institution "Institute of General and Emergency Surgery named after V.T. Zaitsev of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine", I learned to perform scientific work in a structured academic manner and to report it reasonably in patents for useful inventions, research works of the department, theses, articles, monographs, presentations at conferences and congresses in Ukraine and abroad. Clinical and pharmacological studies, in which I was included as a co-researcher by selection, taught me to meticulously follow the protocols of both research and treatment.

With my inquisitive nature and desire to learn more, I took advanced training courses and internships both in Ukraine and abroad (Austria, Finland, Poland, United Arab Emirates). This concerned surgery, endoscopy, gastroenterology, and other related specialties, and after receiving a second higher education in the specialty "Educational Pedagogical Sciences" - in pedagogy as well. Since 2016, I have been a lecturer in surgery courses for 5th and 6th-year students of the Department of Surgery No. 1 at Kharkiv National Medical University. The main goal of my patient consultations has always been to achieve an effective result in both diagnosis and treatment of the patient.

With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, I dedicated a lot of time to volunteer work and my social project "Ukraine for Ukrainians! Ukrainians for Ukraine!", which continues to this day. And since Ukrainians are currently in all corners of the world, as a doctor, I really want to help and support patients in the possible way at the moment on my YouTube channel "Medicine in the language of the patient".
